Who takes charge of an operation when the boss, DCI Jack Meadows (Simon Rouse) is the best qualified to go undercover? It should be DI Sam Nixon, but she's miffed when the DCI tries to call the shots!

Jack's interest in antiques sees him trying to find the culprits from two robberies - one that resulted in a murder. Meanwhile, as DS Stuart Turner (Doug Rao) and DC Mickey Webb (Chris Simmons) investigate, it seems that an insurance fraud might be at the heart of the case.

The team sets up a sting operation, but the suspect, Roy Summers (Michael N. Harbour) proves elusive, and lures Jack out of the team's reach...
