THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Season 16, Episode 26

Saturday September 22

6:30pm (G)

This week on THE GREAT OUTDOORS, Jen teams up with Candace Alley for a Melbourne Makeover while guest reporter Todd Woodbridge meets up with Winston Churchill Junior, Grandson of Sir Winston, to delve into the life and times of the great leader.

Plus, Ernie travels to the heart of Ireland to discover the fine art of crystal making – where else but Waterford of course; Shelley finds one of the world’s best kept ski secrets in Japan; Tom visits King Island off Tasmania and finds there’s a whole lot more to this picturesque isle than dairy products; and Andrew goes to the frontline of Lost Property Department at Sydney airport to see what happens to items left behind or lost by the 10 million plus travellers who pass through every year.

Andrew also has a sneak preview of what’s on offer at the next Central Railway Station lost property auction!

I missed the program on Winston Churchill's home on Friday 22nd September. Is it likely to be shown again? Will it be available on the web? I never miss anything on Churchill but this time I made a serious error and only caught the last two or three minutes of it.

Is it possible to get any film footage recorded when visiting Winston Churchill's home Chadwick? In your footage you showed a very interesting piece of furniture in filming Chadwick - big ask - but thought that if any photographic images were available from that section of your WONDERFUL programme that I might be able to pick up the image again in order to identify if for personal knowledge!

Hopefully!
