But when Burns puts him in charge of the plant, the employees suprisingly treat him as a god. Meanwhile when Richard Dean Anderson badmouths Patty and Selma's "MacGyver" convention, he finds himself kidnapped by the women. Watch him channel MacGyver to escape the two!

When the house needs expensive repairs, Marge is forced to get a job to help make ends meet. She is hired in at the nuclear power plant and quickly becomes the apple of Mr. Burns' eye, who tries to please her with a visit from singer Tom Jones. Meanwhile, Bart becomes "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" when he tries to get out of taking a test at school.

Homer finds himself filling in for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant's union leader when it comes time to negotiate their new contract with Mr. Burns. Homer is a tough negotiator, despite not knowing the first thing about union organising, and forces Burns to accept the union's demands on the condition that Homer be removed as leader.

Clown Without Pity: Lisa tells the tale of how Homer purchases a Krusty doll for Bart's birthday. Homer's life is quickly in danger though, when the possessed doll goes on a mission to kill him. King Homer: Grampa spins a Simponsized version of King Kong, with Homer cast as the title ape, Marge as King Kong's object of affection and Mr. Burns as the millionaire entrepreneur trying to capture King Kong and make a profit from him. Dial "Z" for Zombies: Finally, Bart tells a story in which he casts a spell from a book of witchcraft and accidentally brings Springfield's dead to life.

The Devil and Homer Simpson: Homer falls asleep, while Carl and Lenny eat all the doughnuts. When he realises that all the nearest doughnuts are gone, he sells his soul for a doughnut. Terror at 5 1/2 Feet: Bart dreams about his death on the schoolbus, and later realises, that his dream is starting to become real when he is the only one to see a gremlin taking down the bus piece by piece. Nobody sees it except for him, so he tries to get it off. Bart Simpson's Dracula: Mr. Burns is a vampire and Bart falls victim to his bite, Lisa convinces the rest of the family they must go to his castle and put an end to the curse.

GLEN CLOSE guest stars as Homer's mother Mona in this special episode.

When the Simpsons return home from the mall, they find their front door open. Thinking there's a thief in the house, Homer prepares to engage with them, but finds his mother in the kitchen baking a pie.

Mona says to Homer that her days of activism are over and intends to stay in Springfield for good but Homer is not convinced.

At night Mona asks for his forgiveness, but Homer won’t give it to her. He wakes up feeling horrible about what he said so he makes his mum a card but finds out that she is dead.

Homer is depressed in bed because he hates the way he treated his mother before her death. Marge finds Mona’s video will, who has asked Homer to climb a peak and dump her ashes at exactly 3:00pm.

DREW CAREY lends his voice in this exciting season finale of The Simpsons!

Sideshow Mel narrates a story of how Lisa became Entertainer of the Year.

While visiting Krustylu Studios, Krusty announces that he needed a “Krustkiteer” aka a sidekick on his show. A hopeful Bart tries out and has a great act but isn't chosen by Krusty. Upset, Lisa confronts Krusty on why Bart wasn't chosen and is picked as his new assistant! Lisa soon becomes star of the show and puts Krusty out of business.

Meanwhile, Bart is upset that his sister was chosen over him. Homer tries to get Bart's mind off the problem by throwing out all of Bart's Krusty merchandise - which is everything. Comic Book Guy trades it for a coin book and the two start coin collecting.

JIM JARMUSCH and JOHN C. REILY guest star as themselves.

The Simpsons go to a tailgating party where Homer and Bart constantly steal other people's food. To keep herself occupied, Lisa works on her homework, a video on the beauty of everyday. Impressed by her work, Principal Skinner gives her the key to the AV Cage, so that she can make a film on her family.

Superintendent Chalmers and Principal Skinner are really impressed by Lisa's film and submits it into Sundance. Her film is accepted and the Simpsons family are off to Park City, Utah.

Lisa's film "Capturing The Simpsons" premieres and shows the family in all it's dysfunctionality. The crowd enjoy the film, praising Lisa, calling it "a wonderful film about horrible people". Her family on the other hand, are horrified and extremely hurt that Lisa would paint them in such a negative light. Lisa learns that fads come and go, and that she should be proud for making a great movie.

ZOOEY DESCHANEL (from the movie "The Happening") lends her voice in this episode!

When Bart joins the 4-H Club, he unexpectedly falls in love with a handraised cow named Lou. Bart enters Lou into a 4-H competition where he wins first prize. Thinking this means that Lou won’t have to be slaughtered, Bart becomes determined to save him when he learns that it really means Lou “gets to go first” to slaughter.

Eventually Lou is freed from the slaughterhouse where Bart gives the cow to Mary, a fellow 4-H Club member. However, Mary's father, Cletus mistakenly believes Bart is giving them the cow as a dowry for Mary's hand in marriage.

When Homer and Marge hear of Bart's engagement, they devise a plan to save Lou and free Bart from his marriage.

I'M SPELLING AS FA ST AS I CAN
Series 14, Episode 2

On the first day back to school, Lisa wins a spelling bee and is recruited by a well-known spelling scout, Joe Beadle. Meanwhile, Homer is distraught after Krusty Burger offers a limited Krusty rib sandwich, only to promptly remove it from the menu.

Homer temporarily forgets the sandwich by hustling bar patrons around Springfield, challenging them to a spelling duel with Lisa.

Once Homer discovers that Krusty’s rib sandwich is scheduled to appear in neighboring Shelbyville, he abandons his scam and travels around the country (a la Deadheads in the ’70s) following the sandwich from town to town.

Upon arriving at the National Spelling Bee, the Chair of the Bee asks Lisa to take a dive and let the much cuter boy win. The Chair tells her that she can go to college for free if she takes the dive.

MAXIMUM HOMERDRIVE
Series 10, Episode 17

When Homer accidentally causes the death of Red, a famous truck driver, he and Bart take over Red's truck to deliver his last load.

Back home, Marge and Lisa buy a musical doorbell from Señor Ding-Dong's Doorbell Fiesta. No one comes to the house to ring the doorbell, not even the pizza delivery guy or Milhouse. Finally, when they ring it themselves, the doorbell sticks and plays its tune, "Close to You", repeatedly.

On the road, Homer learns of a long-held trucker secret: All the trucks are controlled by an auto-drive system and the drivers just hang out as the trucks drive themselves. Other truckers warn him not to reveal their secret or else there will be dire consequences.

Homer does anyway, and it forces him into a confrontation with the other truckers. Homer and Bart manage to escape and complete the shipment. But how will he and Bart get home?

When a new, tough-looking kid at school named Donny (played by Topher Grace) teams up with Bart to help him carry out his pranks, Bart thinks he has found his ultimate partner in crime.

However, when Bart’s seemingly foolproof pranks begin to backfire, Groundskeeper Willie warns Bart that he smells a rat in Bart’s group of friends. With Principal Skinner on his case and the possibility of expulsion yet again on the horizon, Bart must figure out who he can trust and who he must get rid of before it is too late.

Meanwhile, Homer receives a fancy loaner car after Marge damages their old car in an accident and he grows extremely attached to his new set of luxury wheels.
