White Collar has been granted a second season by the makers of the series, the USA network. White Collar is seen on Ten on Tuesday nights at 9.30pm and is one of the very few new (and quite interesting) shows airing on free to air TV over summer.
So far, only 7 episodes have aired in the US - just a few more than we have seen here - with the last episode ratings better than the premiere. This helped the decision to award a second season.
White Collar features Matt Bromer as a criminal turned FBI consultant and was created by Jeff Eastin.
So far, ratings for White Collar have not been that great on Ten, but given that summer ratings for all shows on all networks are so far down, it is not really a good guide to the potential of the show if given a chance during ratings season.
There are no details as to the size or details of the order for White Collar’s second season.
