The entire Club is at the scene of a homicide where Ben Cooper, a warehouse janitor, was killed. The ladies powwow about the case. Cindy gets into her car to leave when she realises a man is hiding in the backseat. His name is Jamie Galvan, son of Paul Galvan, who is currently on death row for raping and killing ADA Tracy Wellings. Ben was the star witness for the case. Jamie claims that he wanted to recant his testimony. He was actually meeting Ben to talk about it, but when he got there Ben was dead. Jamie recognised Cindy from her byline picture in the paper, and knew she could help. She accepts a file on his dad’s case, and lets him out on the street.Cindy calls an emergency summit with the others, and tells them about the incident but things take a turn for the worse when Jamie’s building blows up and he is missing, feared dead.Jill believes that the only way to get answers is to visit Paul on death row who maintains his innocence and insists he is not a murderer or rapist.Lindsay still isn’t convinced that Jamie didn’t kill Ben, but doesn’t know where he is. It appears that he wasn’t home when his apartment exploded. After staying up all night with Hanson working on Paul’s ap-peal, Jill receives an anonymous envelope with the tran-scripts of the original case on her doorstep. Jill confronts Kwon who says that Pratt took Ben’s original deposition. He described Paul as the suspect. Pratt was also having an affair with Tracy, and Kwon now fears that he may have “helped” Ben out a little with Paul’s description in order to ensure someone paid for the crime. Denise swears she thought Paul was the killer at the time. She threatens to tell Jill’s fiancé about her having cheated on him with Hanson if she brings up Denise’s name as the source.While Lindsay confides in Claire that she thinks she might be pregnant, Jill is held hostage by the superintendent.Is Lindsay carrying her ex-husband’s baby and will Claire live to see another day?
