TRIPLE SCOOP ICE CREAM - Episode 4

Wormwood is a comic fantasy, a modern Grimm’s fairy tale complete with:
• Giant earthworms (who are the mainstay of the local economy);
• Boys who can fly (badly);
• Noses that run (zero to 100 in 9 seconds flat); and
• A monster who lives in a forest pond – and has indigestion.

Ned eats some of Grandma Schnozz’s special triple scoop ice cream – hoping it will make him tough enough to beat Jarrod in the big race. Instead the ice cream first makes Ned a verbal copycat and then gives Jarrod telepathic power over him. Jarod forces Ned to steal Sally’s lucky “running nose”. Fortunately Ned snaps out of it in time to save Sally who has got stuck in the pond. But it’s the last straw for Uncle Ken and he goes ballistic. The Bourkes decide to leave Wormwood - and Uncle Ken – for good.
